Matt39
Considering his past comments about his distaste for the Jets, Brady was asked if he now felt sorry for New York following the Monday night embarrassment. "I would never, never feel sorry for the Jets. There's no chance," Brady said with a laugh. "I have a lot of old players, Patriot players and Patriot coaches, that texted me after the game last night and expressed their views on the Jets as well. There's no love lost between the current Patriots and the current Jets, or the former Patriots and the former Jets." The Pats ran the score up and have zero qualms with it. If I were Rex, I send in a goon(whomever) and go directly for Brady's knee or head. Why wasnt this done? That type of stunt the Pats pulled in the 4th quarter deserves someone going for the career ender to send a message.
Vudu
I was waiting for someone to take a $40,000 fine and knock Brady out but they all pussied up. How do you let the Patriots run the score up and not do anything? Concuss the sh!t out of him and take the 15 yd penalty and the fine and keep your dignity, but they bent over and took it up the a$$. Bugg
One thing early-Wilfork grabbed and tossed Sanchez's handwarmer like a total dick. And nobody did anything.

The whole team including the coach put their tail between their legs. If Im getting my a$$ kicked like that, plus someone rubbing my head in the mud....I start playing dirty and put a target on the knee and the head of Tom Brady. The Red Sox did this type of sh*t with Jeter...

Jetsfan1015
I have zero problem with the way the Patriots "ran up the score." The Jets D gets paid to stop them. If they cant its not the Pats job to let off the gas. I would have zero problem running up the score on the Pats and so Im not sure why we should have any problem with the Pats running up the score on the Jets. JerryK
I'd have done the same thing if I was Belichick. Pulling their starters and letting us get a 'catchup touchdown' would make the game look closer than it was. Then he'd have to hear about how we're so close and a rivalry and all that. Jared
If I were Rex, I send in a goon(whomever) and go directly for Brady's knee or head. Why wasnt this done? Because they are grown men, not petulant children at recess whose only available option is lashing out and/or throwing a tantrum. They are professionals, and already risking far too much to make the money they are. No one out there wants to make the game any more dangerous than it already is. (Media types) They would have seen exactly what was going on and REx would have been hit with the all time fine. You know they protect brady like the golden goose
LWC611
Cheap shots are no way to play the game....I just wanted the Jets to get clean hits and they could only get to him on one drive I can remember. We do not want to start chep shotting QB's I don't know who their back ups are but the only time I want to see the Jets backups on the field is during warm-ups..... I would have zero problem running up the score on the Pats and so Im not sure why we should have any problem with the Pats running up the score on the Jets. Agreed. To be honest, all this "run up the score" talk is just nonsense. Fact is, the Pats took the foot off the accelerator once the 4th quarter started. Believe me, I know. I have Brady in Fantasy Football and was behind in my game by 6 points when the 4th started. Figured I had the game won. Then the Pats started running the ball, except on 3rd down when they tried to extend drives. Ended up losing by 4. Nobody ran up anything. If they wanted to, New England could have put up at least 2 more TDS in the 4th the way the Jet Defense was playing. I think Belichick actually likes Rex. Jared
I think Belichick actually likes Rex. If you noticed during the pregame show, they had a clip of BB and Rex chatting, and they both were smiling. I know BB knows Buddy, and BB previously employed Rob, so I assume Bill and Rex knew each other from before. I suspect that at the bare minimum, Bill respects Rex for his Xs and Os. ThisYearsModel
The Jets got slapped around with no response. They were not tough, not assertive and basically took their beating like cowering chickens. It was embarrassing.
T0mShane
Every time Mark Sanchez gets hit he looks like he wants to be rushed to the ER. If the Jets took out Brady intentionally, someone--a Pat, a Dolphin-- would inevitably snap Sanchez's little Abercrombie and Fitch body in pieces in revenge and be celebrated around the league for doing it. Rex runs his mouth, other teams are going to try and shut that mouth. You can't blame the Pats for adding on a show-me TD against "the best team in the league." The Jets would have done the same thing if they had an offense that actually scored points.
