Woody tried taking on the Maras at their own game with the stadium project and again with the mystery coin flip thing. Noooooooo love lost there. Allegedly, Woody is viewed as the retarded, minor-league version of Jerry Jones around the league.

Woody wants to be like Steinbrenner. HE LOVES THE ATTENTION and publicity. otherwise he'd just be another rich guy.

We have taken to parking along the sidewalk adjacent to the NY Football Giants Timex GFY Field. Josh McDaniels and his sidekick have some free time. Set them up with an ultimate video system and get them in the parking lot adjacent to the Jints field.

The Jets are still very much in it, but if it doesnt work out, pray for a NY Giants vs NE rematch folks.

Giants fans are the biggest dooshes going.

Why would we do that since most Jets fans hate both teams with a passion. Hopefully both Pats and the Giants crash and burn long before the SB.

Hey do the Eagles still have to come to NY? Because I was thinking, there's a hell of a great place we could let them practice at. Remember idiot Giants ownership: you need wins more than we do right now so you better be $&*%&* careful!

Forget even Florham Park, I say the Jets reserve a day for a stadium practice at the Meadowlands and then graciously pass it along to the Eagles. You know, that way they can get a better feel for the winds in the stadium and all that good stuff. After all, the Jets should be gracious hosts to visiting NFC teams, should they not?

Wouldn't the Giant Dooshes still have a facility to lend them even if we had our own stadium?

Yes but it wouldnt be in or near vicinity where we would be playing our home games. Tom Coughlin can go to hell as I heard on the radio he was contacted first about this.

Total KING DOUCHE move by the NYGIANTS organization. Another reason we should have our own stadium.

This has nothing to do with a shared stadium.

The Giants are letting the Fins use the Giants' 100% owned training facilty. The Jets could have a stadium in Connecticut and it wouldn't stop the Giants.

Understood its just the point of the entire situation.

Understood its just the point of the entire situation.

Not really.

The Jets could have the stadium in Manhattan and the Fins practicing at the Giants' facility would have the same value.

But, don't misunderstand my point:

1) It's a total douche move by the Giants

2) It has nothing to do with the shared stadium.

Yes & this makes the move even more DOUCHE!

What on earth is it with the Mara family?

You would think that they actually believe that they invented the NFL?!!

I have never said this about the Giants before but here I go - LETS ALL PRAY THAT THEY FALL DOWN & DON'T EVEN MAKE IT TO THE WILD CARD GAME!

The big blue Douches!

Mara talks to Woody about letting Dolphins use Giants facility

The Dolphins are playing the Jets at the New Meadowlands stadium Sunday and will utilize the Giants practice facility on Friday and Saturday which has created a minor controversy in New York.

According to Zach Berman of the Newark Star Ledger, at the premiere of the Broadway show “Lombardi”, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross mentioned to Giants co-owner John Mara that he wanted to bring his team up to New York early before the Dec. 12 game against the Jets to see the show.

“I did not consider it a big deal,” Mara said. “I’ve been in this league for a long time, I would not have considered it a big deal if another team needed to use the Jets facility. In retrospect, I wish I had called (Jets owner Woody Johnson) and asked about it first because my relationship with Woody and the Jets is far more important to me and this organization than my relationship with the Dolphins.”

Mara discussed the arrangement with Johnson during a telephone conversation today. Johnson called Mara to discuss, among other issues, the Super Bowl bid and the NFL’s labor issues. The Dolphins’ practice was the last topic discussed.

The Dolphins will not have access to the Giants’ locker room or outdoor practice field, so there will not be an advantage with the Meadowlands' swirling winds.

“My relationship with Woody, our relationship with the Jets, has never been better,” Mara said. “We have a million decisions we have to make going forward, and this partnership is too important to me to jeopardize by doing something like this.”
