Dolphins place Al Harris on injured reserve

Mike Berardino of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports according to a source, Al Harris’ 13th NFL season ended Tuesday when the Dolphins placed him on injured reserve on his 36th birthday.

The veteran cornerback, signed as a free agent on Nov. 10 after the Packers released him off their Physically Unable to Perform list, played in three games for the Dolphins before hitting the injury report with what was officially termed a hamstring injury. Harris, the Dolphins’ oldest player, was inactive for Sunday’s home loss to the Browns

Dolphins' Brian Hartline out indefinitely after hand procedure

Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald reports Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline underwent a procedure Tuesday to repair a hand injury suffered during Sunday's loss, a source said. The team is not yet ruling him out for the rest of the season, another source added.

Miami will instead wait until the performing doctor evaluates how Hartline responds to the procedure before making a decision about whether to shelf him for the rest of the season.
