Dolphins place Brian Hartline on injured reserve

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on December 11, 2010, 5:51 PM EST

Just when Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline was starting to put things together, his second season has ended.

Miami placed the Ohio State product on injured reserve Saturday and called up rookie tight end Dedrick Epps from the practice squad. Epps played at Miami in college and was a seventh-round pick of the Chargers.

For Hartline, it’s a disappointing end to a season that showed considerable promise. He had a play of at least 24 yards in six straight games before hurting his thumb against the Browns. Hartline was on pace for more than 800 yards, a notable total in a mediocre offense.

Miami could use another vertical threat, but they are in good shape for 2011 at receiver with Brandon Marshall, Davone Bess, and Hartline at all entering their primes.

On Sunday against the Jets, Marshall, Bess, and rookie Marlon Moore will have to do.

:P

Great news. The paleface is Revis' kryptonite.

Great news indeed. I read their fansites when Leonhard went down, and those douchenozzles were laughing, high fiving and circle jerking each other. Karma bitches. Put lord Revis on Bess, Cromartie on marshall and blitz those mofos a$$ day long.
