BP
Dude, the whole ******* team quit in the 3rd quarter last Monday night. this is the worst possible scenario right now for this team. how Rex handles this mess will be interesting. and listen, no sense of urgency to get the ******* play off before the 2 minute warning? wtf was with that? do they want to win? or just get paid? SenorGato
Schotty is the worst HC in franchise history. Up there with Kotite. Don't call out Holmes...call out the team...tell them they suck...tel them that you can do more with the Super Bowl than hype up how you dreamed you'd be playing it... I haven't seen Edwards and Keller in weeks...I've got Holmes at 12+ drops so far this year...Cotchery's had his worst year...Smith is not a pass catcher...LT and Greene have dropped alot of passes...there is the Sanchez factor. Sucks that the Pats had the right formula ahead of the curve again ditching the diva for role player WR's.
Vudu
Yeah because its Santonio's fault the entire offense imploded today... Then again if he caught that TD we'd be having a different discussion here.

Well, I will gave him an A for all his celebrating while the Jets were getting their asses handed to them last week. he did put a lot of effort into that at least. T0mShane
All receivers are the same way. If you don't get them the ball, they stop running. It's just how it goes.
serphnx
You're seeing why these guys were available in trade for fairly cheap. Especially in Braylon's case, the team improved without him. In Santonio's case, Mike Wallace is actually a very good replacement, and in terms of effort he tries harder.

I say **** em both and sign Fitzy. He catches anything that touches his hands, hasn't given up completely with the likes of derek ****in anderson throwing him the ball. I know it's not gonna happen, but I'm tired of seeing catchable balls dropped.
JerryK
You can run 4 receiver sets and sign God, Superman, The Flash, and Iron Man at TE. ...It won't help. 1.) You gotta have an OL that can buy them time to run the route. 2.) You gotta have an OL that'll buy the QB time to make an accurate throw after step 1 happens. 3.) You gotta have an OL that gets your RB more than 2 yards per carry (and 1 long run per game to hide the stat) 4.) You gotta have an OL that keeps your overpaid fat candy-assed malingering cornerbacks off the field and fresh. I forget.. who was that FA lineman we didn't need last year? Smashmouth
Like Isaid to you guys a million times do you want big name WR's or WR's that move the chains and play hard even when they have not touched the ball for the entire game ? Why do you think guys like TO get moved so often with big stats ?? Why do you think Santonio got run out of Pittsburgh ? Does a big play now and then constitute a great player ? or does hard nosed consistent football ? This is why stats mean nothing.
