It's Like A Reoccurring Nightmare

We get beat by a total crap Miami team and are about to be a 9-10 win team again and about to not go anywhere in the playoffs again and the Patriots are about to be the ones hoisting another Lombardi trophy and we get to watch them do it again...arrggghhh. Something has to be done, someone besides Sal Alosi has to go. Somebody needs to start the discussion inside of those offices that the offensive philosophy isn't working and that the Seminole package is a bust and takes Sanchez out of his rhythm. When we are able to sit in our living rooms and call the plays and how little they will gain...something HAS to be done. Someone has to answer for this.

I never bought into the bullsh*t talking all year. anybody that did (some fans and ALL OF THE JETS PLAYERS AND COACHES) are now in a state of shock. If you saw Rex's face in the presser yesterday he looked like he was in a state of shock. THATS WHY you dont talk sh*t until you actually accomplish something.

Now with the Alosi thing and a possible monumental collapse this franchise is a complete embarrassment.

The talking isn't the reason we suck. Talking doesn't make the QB suck, the OC suck, and the WRs unable to catch.

The team is not bad because they talk. The team is bad and they talk.

Awful quiet these days though.

They didnt say sh*t after being humbled by the Ravens on opening day. did they? quiet as church mouses before the first Patriots game.

The other thing that has me baffled is why do they continue to line the WRs out 12-15 yards wide and then it takes a 30 yard pass in the air to complete a 7 yard out. Also, can we all agree now that Dustin Keller sucks and is THE most overrated player the Jets have had in a generation?

So?

The insinuation is that their talking is the reason they suck. The reason they suck is they're not very good on the football field.

You, like everyone else who wants to throw blame on other things, does so because they don't want to acknowledge the fact that this team, just isn't very good.

Well, I think the team is not that bad. if you couldnt see that they became complacent the last 6 weeks, you are blind. guess who's job it is to keep them from becoming complacent by saying they're a great team and are resilient?<--Rex said that and you say theyre a bad team? wait, it's not Sanchez's job. lol..it's not Schotty's job..lol..it's not LT's job...lol..it's not Woody's job..lol

Why so let down Jim?

Don't tell me, after we needed back to back overtimes to beat Detriot and Cleveland, needed a last second heave PI call to beat Denver, and a miracle comeback to beat Houston, that you really thought this was 'our year'?

It was fun while it lasted, but teams who barely beat the dregs of the NFL rarely beat the cream of the crop.

That's funny, the defense doesn't appear to be complacent. They played great yesterday, only allowing two scores, both of which when the offense put them in a horrible position.

The special teams look fine to me as well.

Yeah, 9 men on the field on the goal line again. had to waste a to for that that cost them at the end of the half. you're right! it's all on the offense.

Exactly my point.

This team is not complacent. They're not that good. Complacent is just your word to describe it to avoid acknowledging the truth.

We have a good defense, but one that can be exposed. A well below average QB, who doesn't get much help, except when Holmes makes ridiculous plays to win games for him.

I really wish you were right. Complacent is easy to fix. Not very good isn't.

One bonehead alignment resulting in a Timeout in the 1st half is the reason they lost?

Yeah, you're not avoiding reality. No way that's happening. rolls eyes.

I just want something besides Sal Alosi getting punished to be done. All this Brian Schottenheimer is the "golden Boy" and we're "so lucky" to have him crap has to end. It's time to call a spade a spade and place the blame on where it needs to be placed. The offensive play calling, the formations that do nothing to help a struggling QB, the continuance to try the trick Brad Smith plays when the league has clearly caught up and the absolute ignorance to realize just what Miami realized that it takes the young QB out of his rhythm. And I also agree with BP to an extent and haven't been too impressed with Rex Ryan lately-the timeout calls at the end of the 1st half being a perfect example

That's fine. I like accountability.

But, if we want to call a spade a spade, it's more than just calling out the coaching. Sometimes, the players suck too.

Now you know I didnt say that. I meant there were **** ups on both sides. the offense was horrendous, an embarrassment.

also, the complete failure in the 2010 draft class can not be overlooked-Mike T and Joey Clinksdale were a total failure this year. I want to see LT benched and McNight given a chance-hey even HE can do better than 3 yards a pop at this point.

Actually, I was pretty impressed with LT's 3 YPC yesterday. To be able to get that when the defense knows exactly what play is coming because it's called over and over and over and over and over and over again is pretty amazing.

Brian Thomas has also done his disappearing act-it's time to bench him too and start Jason Taylor-the only guys making consistent plays on the D-line are DSeVito and Sione

Actually, Bryan Thomas did something yesterday that Jason Taylor hasn't done in five weeks - sack the QB.

In fact, Thomas and Taylor now have the same number of sacks on the season.

I want payers too to be held accountable-Cotchery needs to sit in favor of Patrick Turner, Brian Thomas needs to be benched in favor of Jason Taylor, Dustin Keller needs to lose his starting job too and LT needs to be a 3rd down back exclusively in favor of seeing what Joe McNight has...

Have any of the self proclaimed 'real' Jets fans on this MB apologized to you for trashing you for not being a mouth foaming kool aid drinker? No? I didn't think so. What a bunch of lowlifes.
