And when you've got 2 timeouts, you can check down twice. That's 12 yards closer to FG range, with at the very least another 2 plays you can call if you use those timeouts right.

Seriously I don't understand how any coach can have issues with clock management. I can find pretty much any 12 year old who plays Madden regularly and they will be better at it then a quarter of the coaches in the league.

fwiw, other than the last drive I think Schott's been calling a good game.

He's mixed up the run with the short passing game and really had Pit off balance until the Slausen holding penalty which completely killed that drive.

The defense has forced 1 punt and no TO's. Right now they need to step it up if the jets are going to win.
