Bugg
As with Dan Reeves, Elway made his HC look very good. Also in 1997-99, the Broncos were violating the salary cap every way they could, as well as running cut blocking schemes that would be outlawed as dangerous to defender's careers. RutgersJetFan
Belichick. Should be without question in the discussion with Walsh and Lombardi but probably won't be due to being on Bonds' and Chamberlain's level of sports douchebaggery. People can front and try to make it seem like that shouldn't matter but it just does.

RutgersJetFan
How is this not an Isiah Thomas thread? I think his legacy as a tool was long cemented before Dolan brought him on. From his rep in his playing days to the CBA, he's up there. But I think his legacy was tarnished before he even retired because of the way he handled himself on the court. Jetsfan80
He's about to resurrect the Redskins from the depths. I'd say he's helped his legacy better than he's hurt it this season. McNabb was handed to him against his wishes, and Redskins fans quickly learned why Eagles fans loved AND hated McNabb so much over the years. Grossman sucks but Shanahan's ballsy, no-nonsense approach is commendable. His handling of that POS Haynesworth has been superb.
RutgersJetFan
well read the ******* thread title before making stupid posts, You mean the one that asks if anyone has hurt their legacy more than Mike Shanahan in the past 10 years?
