Dammit Berman and ESPN, they can't let the Jets keep ANYTHING can they? Now the Giants chokejob in the new stadium gets to replace the Monday Night Miracle? Yeah f***ing right Boomer.

The Monday Night Miracle is just that... The Monday Night Miracke.

He called this the Miracle at the New Meadowlands as opposed to the other epic collapse capped by Herman Edwards when the Iggles embarrassed the Gints because they decided to run the ball instead of kneeling at the end of the game.

Uhm it was a miracle.

Eagles ON THE ROAD were down 21 with less that 8 minutes left and won the game in regulation.

Stop being a pussy and recognize that what the Eagles did equals if not surpasses what the Jets did at home against the Fins.

Besides, as mentioned, Berman referred to it as such because "The Fumble" game is called the Miracle at the Meadowlands by Eagles fans and the media.

Jets don't have an exclusive on the word "Miracle." You lack a fundamental history of the NFL, long before the "Monday Night Miracle" there was the "Miracle at the Meadowlands"

November 19, 1978 - Giants vs Eagles. Giants have the ball up 17-12. Eagles have no timeouts. All the Giants have to do is take a knee and they win the game. For some unknown reason the Giants run a play and fumble the ball. Herm Edwards recovers the fumble and scores the play. The only connection between that game and the Jets is Herm goes on to coach the Jets and the Jets go on to move into Giants stadium.

It is widely considered the most the worst coaching blunders in NFL history and proably the single greatest choke in sporting history.

And with the exception of in the minds of some Jets fans and some younger NFL fans is a more well known and more famous game than the Monday Night Miracle.

Given that this game too was the ultimate choke job and between the same two teams, the name "Miracle at the New Meadowlands" is the perfect name for it.

You lack a fundamental knowledge of NFL history. That is no reason to get upset at Chris Berman. Better would be to go to the library and read up on the history of the sport.

You almost made it through this post unscathed, but "go to the library"... seriously? Come on. What century do you think this is?

Google, Wiki, NFL.com, anything like that would work.

The Giants is such an interesting franchise. They truly have experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows.

They've won championship, but have had remarkable collapses, and crushing defeats, even back in the old Yankee Stadium days. They also had Tom Landry and Vince Lombardi as coaches and let them both go.
