JetNation
Holmes hurt- On Wednesday New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes missed practice due to a turf toe injury he suffered in the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Holmes is expected to play on Sunday. Woody out- Offensive lineman Damien Woody continues to rehab from his knee surgery and has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. Wayne Hunter, who filled in admirably against the Steelers, will once again replace Damien. Sanchez banged up- On Wednesday the NY Daily News reported that Mark Sanchez has a slight cartilage tear in his right shoulder. As of now the Jets are stating that Sanchez will start on Sunday. This is a scary injury for Gang Green as shoulders are a very delicate area to deal with. I am sure many are already comparing Sanchez to Chad Pennington, which is completely unfair at this point. Just keep your fingers crossed and hope the kid can play through the injury. No fans of the Jets- The final fan ballots for the 2011 Pro-Bowl have been tallied and the New York Jets did not have any players voted the top at their position. This should come as no surprise as the Jets tend to offend many with their arrogant ways. My guess is that Darrelle Revis, Brandon Moore, and possibly David Harris make the team. Playoff scenarios- The New York Jets can clinch a playoff spot on Sunday with a win or tie. In addition Gang Green can also clinch a spot with a Colts or Jags loss or tie. Not for nothing but wouldn’t it be nice to earn a spot without getting help? Then again as long as the Jets qualify who really cares how they get in. Mum’s the word for Rex- As expected Rex Ryan did not answer any questions regarding the foot fetish video allegations. This has to be an embarrassing time for Ryan as his team has garnered way too many off the field headlines this season. One can only wonder how much differently this situation would have been handled if the Jets were 4-10 at this point. Jets owner Woody Johnson is expected to meet with the media on Thursday. It will be very interesting to see how Mr. Johnson handles this recent incident, as well as the team’s stance on Sal Alosi’s “Tripgate” ordeal. For an owner consumed by the team’s image and selling PSL’s, he cannot be very happy right now. View the full article

New York Mick
None of them deserve to be in the Pro Bowl other then maybe Mangold. The team is average at every position.

New York Mick
Crmartie & Brad Smith are pro bowlers. Haters gonna hate! Good call on B Smith, I forgot about him. Smith and Mangold should be the only two from the team that make it.
