Merry Christmas - so what did you get

Recommended Posts

Santa was very good to me I got a NY Jets gym bag and NY Jets suitcase handle covers -- so the TSA can screw with me some more.

Also a Blue ray disc player and Vinyl to CD recorder so I can take my old records out the attic for the first time in 20 years and record them to CDs and download to my MP3 player it has been so long since I have seen my albums I kinda forget what I actually have. Should keep me busy for awhile

Oh and Mrs Slowmoe got a Nook Color and a diamond pendent.

So what did Santa bring you.

I got everything I wanted and more. Kids are ungrateful little bastards though. Teenagers want want want the more you give them the more they want. DAMMIT

my 5 year old got cordoroy pants from his grandpa, and he threw them back into the box and said, "clothes ?!?"

I mean, who gets cordory pants for a 5 year old, but I guess I should have covered the etiquette beforehand :(

The kids were great. Love the reaction that the kids give when you hit a gift out of the park. They are all pretty good and respectful even when you give them clothes, lol. But my 7 year old got this crazy lego police station that he wanted and went around hugging everyone, it was cool. My Daughter got the camera she wanted plus a life size Justin Beiber cut out (haha) and oldest son got the blackberry he has been eyeing up for the last year...

The kids are all very happy. Is there anything else?

We went to midnight mass and the morning was pretty relaxing. Now it is off to my parents house, then to PA tonight for Round 3!

I did not get a bit of Jets stuff, I'm glad to say. My teenagers have been very appreciative of their gifts and they gave some nice ones, too.

My wife gave me a shaitsu massage chair cushion. I like it.

Got my wife yet another camera, some general stuff she wanted and i got her a birthstone necklace from my 19 month old son. Also got her a family vacation which I am currently on. She got me some games, clothes and Kinect for the family. A buddy of mine got me an official Sanchez jersey.

Got a Mangold jersey, a few sweaters, a button-down shirt and a tie. My mom said she'll pay for Jets tickets I just have to order them, but I'll wait until after today to see if the game is worth it. I'm happy enough...no one got me new video games, I don't need another reason to waste time.

This was the first year I actually had money to get legitimate gifts, which was pretty exciting (yay babysitting!). I've had jobs in the past but never anything that gave me money to the hand, so this is nice. Got my sister slippers/money, other sister money to pay for some jewelry she wanted, my bro got American History X, Rambo and First Blood, Terminator 2 and Total Recall, all on Blu-Ray. He apparently already has American History X so I might return that for Hurt Locker. Etc. etc. I also got myself a pair of Klipsch Image S4's, I needed a pair of in-ear headphones that can isolate the noise from Starbucks haha.

Agreed but the older they get the harder they get to raise. They are good kids they just need a reality check. No worries this morning we got apologies. My wife is still livid and not talking to them. She gave them a tongue lashing this morning that was monumental. Teenagers see the world at a whole different angle. We've all been there. Its all good. My wife told them we have the reciepts for everything we bought. We can take it back and me and your father can go away for a 3 day weekend or longer. You decide.

I was probably the last person on earth to not have an I-pod, but now i do. thats really about it.

You're at worst the 2nd to last person on earth. I don't own an I-pod.

I got a sweet Dexter bobblehead, a football with the Jets logo on it, some desperately needed sneakers, etc. I was happy.

Just got back in town and due to the beautiful weather in the northeeast the last couple of days immediatly got called into work

cutting my vacation short (I am getting paid well for my efforts)

Yes I said Nook Color -- Its a version of the KINDLE I-Reader thats in color -- sort of a smaller I-PAD. but ended up returning it -- seems it was to small for my wifes liking so I returned it and got her an I-PAD instead -- cost more but she kicked in her Christmas money her parents gave us to foot the bill -- so it was a Merry Christmas for all

I got the Simpsons season 12 on DVD along with the first two seasons of Futurama.

Also got the DVD of the Rush Classic Albums: 2112/Moving Pictures doc - very cool.

Nice.

Futurama is my favorite accidently find on at night and watch show. I would hump lela until her one eye split into two.

I got some really nice gloves to walk my dog. Also got a nice hat to walk my dog too. Dogs are good for fatguys cause it helps them go walking and get nice stuff for Christmas.
