T0mShane
CNN VIDEO http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/video?id=7877664 Mysterious Death of Birds, Fish Puzzle Arkansas Residents by Mallory Cooke http://www.kspr.com/news/local/kfsm-mysterious-death-of-birds-fish-01032011,0,41484.story Thousands of dead fish washed up last week on a 20 mile stretch along the Arkansas River between Ozark and Clarksville. On New Year's Eve thousands of red-winged blackbirds tumbled from the sky in Beebe, Arkansas. According to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, a tug boat operator noticed thousands of dead drum fish. Experts estimate somewhere between 80,000 and 100,000 fish died. "This is really getting kind of crazy with the fish and the birds and these tornadoes hitting during the winter," said Denise Dickerson, of Ozark. Scientists still cannot explain either incident for sure, but the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission believes the fish may have had a disease. Some experts think the birds may have been hit by lightning or hail, or may have been stressed out because of fireworks. "I just think it might be the way the weather's changing so much. One day it might be hot and one day it might be really cold," said Jon Rose Brammer. Crews dressed in Hazmat suits collected the dead birds from a one square mile area near Beebe. "I'm wondering do we need the same thing because what makes that happen for them to drop out of the sky like that," said Melissa Weatherly, a Beebe resident. According to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, so far there is no sign that what killed the birds could hurt humans. Some believe it is not a coincidence all the dead animals started showing up at once. "I'm just wondering, what's next really? What's next?" said Dickerson. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission does not believe these incidents are connected. Game and Fish spokesman Keith Stephens says the aquaculture school at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will conduct tests to determine the cause of the fish die-off. The results will take about a month to come back. Stephens says only one species was affected, which indicates the fish were sick. Dozens of the dead birds will be sent for testing to the state Livestock and Poultry Commission lab and the National Wildlife Health Center lab in Madison, Wisconsin. T0mShane
The conspiracy theorists have two things: 1. Biblical PROPHECY!!! Hosea: 4 "Hear the word of the LORD, you Israelites, because the LORD has a charge to bring against you who live in the land: "There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. Because of this the land dries up, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea are swept away ..." 2. HAARP: The ionospheric research program in Alaska, HAARP has been in news for more bad reasons than the good ones. The number of conspiracy theories being circulated about this program far exceed the number of its benefits. Some of the most infamous HAARP conspiracy theories associate it with several natural calamities and quite a few defense mechanisms. Before we move to the details of the matter, let's try to understand what HAARP is all about. What is HAARP? The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (abbreviated as HAARP) is a joint research venture funded by the United States Air Force, the United States Navy, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the University of Alaska. The project was started way back in 1993, with the aim of analyzing the ionosphere, in order to assess the potential of developing it to further enhance the radio communication and surveillance technology. The HAARP Research Station - the facility where this research is carried out, is located at a US Air Force site in Alaska. As a part of this project, a high power radio frequency transmitter - the Ionospheric Research Instrument (IRI) also referred to as 'ionosphere heaters', is used to excite a specific portion of the ionosphere for a temporary period. Other than the IRI, this project also includes the use of equipment like a UHF radar and a fluxgate magnetometer to study the physical changes that occur in the excited portion of the ionosphere. Even though, several ionosphere heaters exist in various parts of the world, this is by far the largest and most powerful among them. What is HAARP Conspiracy? The Ionospheric Research Instrument used in HAARP has the ability of producing a single beam of radio waves with the power exceeding 3.6 million watts. The very fact that such enormous power can be used for something good as well as bad, has made the activists and environmentalists raise some serious concerns about the objective of this research project. That being said, the conspiracy theorists are not left far behind, and that is evident by the number of allegations made on HAARP. While some of these allegations have been backed by logical reasoning, others are mere baseless claims. HAARP Conspiracy Theories Most of the project HAARP conspiracies allege that the research project is basically a directed-energy weapon, a weather control, and an earthquake induction device in disguise. Even though the information revealed by the concerned authorities claims that HAARP is no different from the other ionospheric heaters, scientists are afraid that sudden heating of the ionosphere can result in unnatural effects of the same on the planet. The authorities may claim that the research is done in mid air approximately 75 km above the surface of the Earth, but the fact, as the conspiracy theorists suggest, is that it actually controls the near surface weather of the planet. The allegation that the high frequency radio waves alter the core of the planet is yet another infamous attribute of the project HAARP conspiracy. Earthquakes are believed to be triggered by the alteration of the core by the activities carried out in this alleged research project. Some also allege that the HAARP is a military mega-project in disguise of a research center, which primarily acts as a surveillance system, but also has the ability of destroying the aircraft in midair. Some conspiracy theorists also claim that the radio waves emitted by HAARP can result in adverse effects on the human mind and body. The HAARP Research Station is a high security zone wherein unauthorized entry is strictly prohibited. This adds to the mystery surrounding the research project and is the driving factor behind a range of HAARP conspiracy theories. In short, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), allegedly, has the ability to take down an aircraft, manipulate weather and trigger natural calamities, and all these possibilities have put it under the scanner as one of the most infamous conspiracy of the world. T0mShane
http://news.nationalpost.com/2010/12/30/victoria-river-mysteriously-turns-bright-green/ More dead birds, in Sweden More dead birds found, this time in Sweden Shortly before midnight on January 4, residents found 50 to 100 dead jackdaws on a Falkoping street. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of death. STOCKHOLM — In a week that saw unexplained massive bird deaths in the southern United States, up to 100 birds were found lying in a snow-covered street in Sweden Wednesday, officials said. “Most were dead,” Christer Olofsson of rescue services in the southwestern town of Falkoeping said of the 50 to 100 jackdaw birds, a type of crow. Ornithologist Anders Wirdheim said the find was surprising. “This is unusual,” he told tabloid Aftonbladet, which posted online a reader’s photo of dozens of black birds littering a snow-covered road. “They are probably jackdaws. They spend the winter in large flocks. If they are exposed to disturbances, they can become so stressed that they fly themselves to death,” he said. Mr. Olofsson told AFP the birds were first spotted around midnight by a police patrol, and that five had been taken in for analysis. Olov Andersson of the National Veterinary Institute told news agency TT the carcasses would be analyzed and that bacterial and viral tests, including for swine flu, would be performed. The Falkoeping incident comes after two unexplained mass bird deaths in the United States. On Tuesday, officials in Louisiana said 500 birds were discovered dead, shortly after thousands of birds were discovered dead in neighbouring Arkansas. Arkansas officials said preliminary testing showed no signs of disease in the dead birds and that they died of “acute physical trauma.” U.S. officials said possibly New Year’s Eve fireworks had provoked the birds to take flight in the dark, and that due to poor night vision they may have died after bumping into houses, trees and other birds in their fright. Swedish rescue services told media Wednesday fireworks had been heard in the area where the birds were found. .... T0mShane
Well, it's everywhere now As you're likely aware, there's been a pretty bizarre spate of mass animal deaths reported around the world. First, it was the thousands of birds that fell from the sky in Arkansas on New Year's Eve. Some 100,000 fish also washed up on the shores of a river 100 miles away. Birds fell from the sky in Louisiana and Kentucky, too. Two million fish washed up dead in Chesapeake Bay. 50 birds fell from the sky in Sweden. 100 tons of fish washed ashore in Brazil. 40,000 crabs were found dead in England. All of this carnage has left people around the world wondering the same thing: What the hell is going on?
