When you haven;t seen your man parts for half a decade due to an overaggressive growth of your fupa and you look at it in a reflection and realize it's still their.. Creates as much a rush for a fatty as Neil Pert killing a drum solo does for a Rush fanatic. Perfectly on topic if you ask me.

It was there. Honest. Looked like a washing machine to me. I even asked the bf and he said so (we were drinking so maybe the washing machine was really a sausage machine?) Anyway, yup, I was there: Boston TD BankNorth Garden. At the end there was a video of a skit with the dudes from that movie....the one with Paul Rudd and that guy from How I Met Your Mother.

I went to a Rush Concert this past year. First one. It was okay. The stage set-up with the washing machine and a chicken....interesting...but after a while it all sounded the same. I was sitting in the handicapped section (long story) and that's what I liked most about the concert. These folks were rocking out! It's as if the wheelchairs did not exist. That was awesome. I will say though - the men to women ratio is like 50-1. Good news for Zippy. Lots of boys to choose from.

Its a meat market for female fans at a Rush show.. :D/

See, I was unable to get into a playful banter with you over your diet, so I had to take another tack.

Besides, Copeland is the greatest drummer ever, so it gives me a chance to engage in honest playful banter. Although I'm a big Mitch Mitchell and Keith Moon fan, too.

All lists like this are subjective. Neil gets the accolades as probably the most accomplished technician, but if I were starting a band today I'd take #'s 2 & 3 well before Peart. And they aren't changing my mind on Copeland, either, severely underrated he is.

And I'm a huge, huge Beatle fan (see my avatar), but there's no way I put Ringo at #13. It's nice to see, though. I like the Bill Bruford love, too. He's another great technician, but also knows how to play with soul when the song calls for it. I'm not a Rolling Stones fan, either, but can tell you that Charlie Watts got jobbed here.

Both lead singers kinda creep me out. Geddy Lee looks like he is made of wax and sting looks like the guys from "A clockwork orange". Saw Rush in the late 70's and never saw the police. Eddie Murphy's cover of "Roxanne" trumps all. That was some funny shiit.

I saw Sting here a few of years ago. He did a free concert in the duomo piazza. Good show, but they closed with an absolutely kick a$$ version of Next to You. I don't know who the drummer was, but he kicked a$$.

The fact that you don't think thier improv is interesting makes it all the most clear why you so enjoy dragging your knuckles into a rush show

I've been to a few Phish shows.. no comparison to Rush.. completely different genres.. Rush is no jam band and never will be..

Cool, and I've been to Rush shows and think it's no contest... Was really commenting that I'm surprised they're still touring and busting klacko's balls a bit, but I later realized they weren't as old as I thought they were.
