BigOrangeJetFan
Did he learn anything from last year? Do we drop 7-8 in coverage on passing downs? What surprises will Rex install for tonight?

Maxman
Hold them to field goals and not touchdowns. That's the motto the next two weeks. You still blitz but throttle back on the aggressiveness a bit, just slightly.
Larz
I think we saw rex calling plays last week, or at least more often than pettine, so I think yes, we will see the pressure package
Mattyandthejets
they shouldnt do what doesnt work. Dont blitz. go into coverage and take away the deep ball, make peyton throw 5 yard outs to tamme and white.

You still blitz but throttle back on the aggressiveness a bit, just slightly. Rex likes to come from outside. That forces the QB to hot read it inside. If he comes up the gut, the hot reads are on the outside. Aren't our best DB's on the outside? I think inside pressure is the key. Force Peyton to move or throw outside. GangisGreen
If Rex blitzs all night we lose by at least two touchdowns.

The Pats are a pass first team. Rex correctly guesses that Peyton would run when his reads indicated it. Peyton is fairly robotic. The Pats use short passes in place of runs and Brady has a better arm than Manning. In my book you have to hit Brady, and bring pressure up the middle. He sucks when he is moving. I think we will see every defense known to man, brady has all our signals so they are gonna have to go heavy on disguise
NJ
Look for more corner personnel playing LB's on passing downs. If we're blitzing, somebody's going to be in man coverage and we can't have Welker and Danny murdering our guys on slants all day.
greeniemeanie
I know this may not be popular but I see Taylor having a huge game for us. I don't expect the Jets to go into coverage as often as last week. I think we just have to disguise and keep mixing it up. Every d-play is going to have to be thrown at Brady.
