Instead of builiding to s climax of a college season, it's an afterthought. These college presidents and the NCAA by keeping the bowl system and refusing to institute a playoff have made their championship almost irrelevant. After Wildcard Weekend, America is footballed out. Further can guarantee you tonight will take close to 4 hours to play due to commercials on a Monday weeknight in January. Would bet that this game has worse ratings than the Jets/Pats MNF on 12/5.

If you're not watching you are stupid. The hype coming up to this match up has been huge and building all season long. There is no way this is a ratings bust since it's probably the most anticipated college game since USC-Texas five years ago. Tickets to the game has also been considered the toughest ticket ever to get.

All that really matters though is Oregon is gonna win it's first national championship!

While last night sucked for me since the Ducks lost I just want to point out how utterly wrong the thread starter was. The game was watched by 27.3 viewers making it the highest rated program on cable television EVER.
