And after signing the deal with Big Blue, he was asked if he was surprised the Jets weren't more aggressive in attempting to re-sign him. He said this: "Not at all, because in looking at the history of the Jets and seeing how they have trouble keeping key players to maintain consistency, you never know what to expect around the corner." Now, I really like Kareem McKenzie. He is as bright a player as there is in the NFL.
