CrazyCarl40
The quest for .500 continues And yet still less than 5 games out. And that below .500 team took 2 of 3 from your team. It's a long season. Just sayin'.

No one is saying that Yankees are all that great. Botson just is worse and they haven't really done anything to make anyone think anything differently. Every time they are "turning it around" they go back to playing like the mediocre team they are again.
madmikeisback
Mike loves him players that have one monster year and then allows that year to be a reflection of their entire career. Example: Granderson and Zorbist. Granderson sucks. He's only leading the majors in homers with a 972 OPS. See in boston retard world Ellsbury is having a great year this year with a 815 OPS haha. The facts of his performance say he sucks but i guess they still want to sell his jersey the 13 year old girls in the Boston pr dept.... Which part of his performance sucks? He's on pace to hit more HRs and drive in more RBIs than he has before while still scoring runs and stealing bases and playing good defense. He's top ten in OPS amongst starting centerfielders. What more do you want? You're just a blind hater.

Yeah because Granderson has never hit homers or had a high OPS before.... Oh wait he's pretty much done that every year of his career. Are you really still arguing this? Are you really still arguing this? http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/grandcu01.shtml' Ok, when has he ever had 53HRs and 115 RBIs in a season? Never. He has only eclipsed .281 once in his career. He has had one .900 OPS season and barely eclipsed .800 in another. The only thing Granderson consistently does is strikeout. He is a faster Dave Kingman. He can't hit. He has some power which over inflate his numbers.

The Sox fanbase is a lot more uppity and cliche than the Yanks is. Both organizations jumped ship a while ago...but the Red Sox "fans" are a joke too. Babe Ruth could hit. Granderson can't. Granderson had two good seasons in 2007/2008. Due to those two seasons, Mike thinks he is the King of the OPS. PFSIKH
He's been the Yankees best player this season. True, but Mike would make you believe he is a Ruth re-incarnation. Just for a satrting point, Babe put up a BA and OPS that is miles ahead of what Granderson is doing this year which would be career bests.
