Somebody got hit harder than Pirates' pitchers

Recommended Posts

I wonder which would have been better for him, being allowed to stay, and watch the Pirates play, blowing the game by walking home the winning run, or getting shocked by a taser a couple times and clubbed by the cops?

All you guys need is a series each week against the Cubs who you seem to own.

Hughes the hall of famer.

oh, so the redsox fan felt a need to respond?

well, atleast the Yankees didn't pay 50 million dollars JUST TO NEGOTIATE with Hughes :D

Hughes is younger than either Lester or Buchholz and has had a good deal of success in the majors. Apparently he sucks because he's having a dead arm period or is injured.

Most of his success was as a reliever. His numbers as a starter are garbage. IF he was injured or had a dead arm, why is he slated to make his next start?

Meh. Dice-K was a solid piece of the 2007 team and he gave them some good innings that year. It was worth it. Continuing to trot him out there every 5th day in 2011 is borderline crazy.

His first full year as a starter was better than either Buchholz or Lester's. 18 wins and a low 4 ERA with great peripherals isn't garbage in anyone's book. (except red sox fans)

You gotta love how an event at an NL park sparks Yankees - Red Sox discussion.
