I loved all the current and former NBA stars in it. I enjoyed every second of it and I probably will watch it more than once more. Mrs. Dcat: "utterly predictable (true to the last drop), campy beyond expectation (true), limited character development (true), boring (yeah... well it's sports so that's always boring to her). I feel like Raimi took on the movie just to make an homage to himself disguised as a Marvel movie and that’s the most Sam Raimi thing ever. The Raimi element definitely made it a stylistically unique entry into the MCU. Wrapping up Wanda's story acr from Wandavision was cool. I also geeked out at the Illuminati scene. I think the biggest issue with the MCU right now is that it is missing the over arching "Infinity War" arc that made the first 10 years of movies so enjoyable. Right now they are trying to introduce a lot of lesser known charcters without a Thanos level threat looming over everything. Yeah I agree... my post here is a few weeks back and Sandler was good demonstrating the highs and lows of scouting, mostly lows. Plus I really loved seeing all the past and present NBA stars. All they omitted was the "Rudy clap/chant". lol Very goofy in spots, but it won us over pretty quickly. Sandler is so much better in more dramatic roles.
