The first 40 minutes or so of You People is absolutely hysterical. Julia Louis-Dreyfuss had me falling off my couch laughing. The flick starts going in a lot of places that really needed to be gone to, and then it just...stops. The whole thing becomes some very stupid and very cliché pile of drivel after that.

I just can't watch Julia's face anymore since all the 'cosmetic' work.  She was butchered.

Jonah Hill is insufferable and the complete flip of Murphy's character at the end was just stupid.

It sounds stupid, but you know what annoyed me most.....the basketball scene.

Of course Jonah Hill is gonna write the scene so that he turns out to be some street basketball wiz.

I'm shocked his first choice to play his girl wasn't Beyonce.

I despise Jonah hill.  The only thing I ever liked him in was Megamind, mainly because he played a moron that I didn't have to look at.

Beyonce is too big of a star to do a Jonah Hill Netflix movie.

FWIW according to Tarantino’s opinion, the six “perfect” films are: Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), Jaws (1975), The Exorcist (1973), Annie Hall (1977), Young Frankenstein (1974), and Back to the Future (1985).

He added that The Wild Bunch (1969) isn’t “perfect” but so close it deserves an honorable mention.

MCU movies, post endgame ranked:

1) Spider-Man: No Way Home

2) Quantumania

3) Shang Chi

4) Wakanda Forever

5) Doctor Strange and the MM

6) Black Widow

7) Thor: Love and Thunder

8 ) Enternals

There's a pretty decent gap between Wakanda Forever and DS

Huge gap between Black Widow (which really wasn't that good) and Thor and Eternals (both of which were just god awful)

For me, the one movie I will always watch if I see it on is North by Northwest.  I love Hitchcock, and this was, imo, his best.  Some of this other classics are dated but enjoyable for the nostalgia, but this one is just as good today as when I first saw it.  Probably about 40 years ago.

I really enjoyed Quantumania, I don't know why its being reviewed so badly. OTOH, I preferred DS2 to Wakanda Forever

Wakanda Forever was horrible.  I thought it was just me, but my coworkers hated it too.

I liked Namor but if you don't have Black Panther in it, it's not a Black Panther movie and I'm just not interested in a Shuri movie. I had a lot of respect for Boseman, but they should have recast the character.

I thought it was ok.  Not terrible, not great.

It was nice to feel like the MCU is once again building toward something with some gravitas in the Kang Dynasty. This last phase felt so rudderless at times. What was the point of so many of these characters being introduced with no clear plan to have them interact with each other?

Just give us some proper Fantastic Four and X Men movies, I could care less about the Marvels.

Supposedly they wanted to re cast, and no one would take the role.

I haven't been to the movies in ages, as nothing has really captured my interest. But I recently watched "Bullitt", "Reservoir Dogs", "Straw Dogs", and "Margin Call" for the first time in awhile.

That car chase in "Bullitt", to me is the greatest car chase, aside from maybe "The French Connection", "The 7 Ups", or "Blues Brothers". My colleagues at work were trying to tell me the "Fast and Furious" had the best car chases. Umm sure ok. lol

I liked Quantumania as well.  Especially, after Thor Love and Thunder.  I think Quantumania missed out on an opportunity, but after watching a video from New Rockstars...maybe not.

I liked Wakanda as well.  IMHO it was probably one of the better movies from Marvel since Endgame.  Given, what they had to do trying to 're-write' history after Bozeman's death, I think they did a real good job.

"The Most Fun You Can Have Watching Nazis Get Destroyed"

Could be the best tag line in the history of Cinema.   The only competition being, "You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll kiss 5 bucks goodbye."
