JerryK
When does that new Seth Rogen movie come out? Spoiler alert: Weiners, F-bomb, weiners, F-bomb, bong hit with James. The end.
Krak
The Babadook was alright, sneaky funny until the end. I probably would not watch it twice, but it was a really well made movie. Non-Stop was entertaining. I don't know if Corey Stoll was real acting or troll acting, but everyone else is pretty serious about it. Still no Animorphs movie coming. Yeah, I really enjoyed The Babadook. Kept me guessing, more or less, but really what I enjoyed, apart from Essie Davis' performance, was the ambiguity concerning the reality of the Babadook. I think it was pretty obvious that she was just losing her marbles, but I at least appreciate the director's choice to leave it, more or less, up to the viewer. Krak
Kilmer wasn't bad. The script and directing were horrible they should have just kept making gothic movies like the first two. I like Kilmer for the most part. I thought he was pretty great in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. MacGruber was bullsh*t, but what did I expect? Morrissey
http://youtu.be/dHJDeIrq340 Saw it last night, really enjoyd it, was really therapeutic for me. Wish I had the balls to do what she did. Reese Witherspoon looks amazing for a women pushing 40. Theres's just something about her that makes me smile when she's on screen. Anyways, worth the price of admission.
RutgersJetFan
Was not aware they were doing a movie about this. For anyone who's a reader I cannot recommend the book highly enough. One of the most fascinating tragedies to ever occur, and the story of how Melville comes to be influenced by it is so coincidentally incredible as well. It will be interesting to see how graphic Ron Howard gets in telling the story, because if he goes by the book it would be NC-17, which he obviously can't do.
munchmemory
^ Thanks for that preview, RJF. I don't know that book, but will seek it out. Movie looks intense.
vincenzo69
Spoiler alert: Weiners, F-bomb, weiners, F-bomb, bong hit with James. The end. I like Seth Rogen but I rented Neighbors. Holy Crap that movie is awful I can't believe it made all that money because 12 year girls and New England Patriots fans wanted to see Zach Efron without a shirt.

My Dad has read a bunch of books about the Essex. That one was pretty good, he got me to read it a few summers ago. I forget who it was that recommended Attack on Titan a ways back but kudos. I think it may have been Hess. This is great. Hess. He deserves major props for that. When the **** is the second season? She is still running around threatening to kill me in Japanese, but the delay before season 2 has caused her to neglect her studies. I like Samurai Champloo too,(that used to be his avatar) but she couldn't get into it. She does not like hip hop.
SenorGato
In the Heart of the Sea looks ******* amazing. The second trailer just because I haven't even actually watched it yet:

All of these guys were ****ed as soon as the whale turned towards them, but Nantucket culture and the variables that determine hierarchical power determined who lived and who died in the instance of the Essex. Great microcosm of the times.
Integrity28
Batman Forever is a horrible movie but there's actually a deleted scene on youtube where Bruce Wayne confronts his past and the Giant Bat in the batcave. Was actually a very cool scene I'm suprised they didn't leave it in the movie I guess the idiot studio execs thought it was too dark and throught provoking to be in their 90 minute toy commercial.[ That was awful. Krak
That was awful. It was a metaphor, you dummy. A metaphor for some really awful art direction.
RutgersJetFan
Hobbit 3. It's the shortest, which helps. And there are some well done scenes, but there is such a been there done that feeling with all the battles, and Jackson can't get out of his own way with the awful dialogue and and over reliance on CG and green screens. Kind of knew all of this would be the case going in, but we decided to be completists anyways.

SenorGato
I've wanted to see Very Bad Things for a long time but just haven't...until now. Great, hilarious, and really dark. Makes me want to see Death to Smoochy again.
LoneStarLady
Watched Love Actually again as part of our Christmas-themed streaming movie watching (next up is Bad Santa ). Weird to see these actors in that not-as-good-as-I-remembered movie: Bilbo Baggins as a stand-in for a porno movie star, mimicking all the porn moves without actually doing the deed Rick from Walking Dead as a lovestruck wimp, using his native Brit accent

SenorGato
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is fun, really well made, and doesn't cheap out. HessStation
I know. I'm an unabashed Scott homer. Nobody will ever convince me that Legend isn't awesome. The Tolkien estate owns the rights to everything else and they're very against any screen adaptions. LOTR and The Hobbit were sold off in the 70s. I was like a tolkien scholar and I couldn't get 30 pages into the silmarillion, lol
