WWWWombat
Our justice system is an adversarial one and depends on lawyers doing their best to represent their clients. If you can't defend people who are guilty of horrible crimes, then don't become a criminal defense attorney imo.
kelticwizard
While I wouldn't hold it against the attorney for quitting, considering the outrageous nature of the crime in question, I would not characterize whatever attorney replaces him as "heartless". Every defendant deserves a vigorous defense, that's the way the system works. And every now and then you come across a Central Park Jogger case where the defendants are convicted but are, seemingly impossibly, exonerated by later evidence. Sperm Edwards
http://www.vladtv.co..._medium=twitter And then if the opposite were true, where there was only one attorney was willing to defend this monster, the title of the thread would be the same.
