Ty Warren Cut

Wow, no sh*t. I can't imagine this is anything other than a cap move with a deal already in place for him to come back. If not, the Jets should at least talk to the guy. Wilkerson still hasn't had a chance to prove anything and I'm a huge DeVito fan, but the guy is no Warren. Unless it turns he's still got some serious health issues going on, you have to at least see what his story is and how much he's looking for.

That surprises me. Have to assume he is coming back. Hes still a good player.

He won't be coming back. He's been hurt the past two seasons, including missing all of last year after electing to have hip surgery right before the start of the season (an act that is rumored to have pissed off BB royally, similar to TBC putting off his sports hernia surgery all summer). On top of all that, he failed his physical and pulled a hammy in his conditioning run.

It has been pretty clear from Ty talking to local scribes that he doesn't expect to be back.

Ty Warren has the upside that we hoped Dewayne Robertson would have. The phrase bowling ball with a butchers knife is over used in sports today but it applies to Warren.

Sure he doesn't have the gaudy sack totals that common fans hope for. Common fans don't know what it is like in the trenches.

The battle is won and lost in the trenches.

This kid is 6'5 and 300lbs. He was a 1st rounder for a reason. His fluid hip movement is what sets him apart. He sheds Offensive Lineman not because of his superior size, not because of his great and quick hands but because of his hip movement.

Watch this cat in either a 3 point or 4 point stance. He fires off the ball like very few 300 pounders do.

Shaun Ellis thank you for the service. But there is a new cat in town and his name is Ty Warren.

Mike Tannenbaum needs to redeem himself here.

Redeem himself.

Jared he won't be back in New England. He will want to win a Championship with the Jets and that's what he is gonna do.

Gonna do.

How is the diet going? Did you end up keeping all those pounds off? Good job mu-man.

If you like I would talk to Sooth (on behalf of all of JN) to see if he will take you back.
