Brett Favre on Dolphins: 'I don’t have any interest'

Apparently Favre Watch 2011 really won't last more than a blink of the eye.

Brett Favre was tracked down in Mississippi by Jeff Darlington of The Miami Herald after Dolphins coach Tony Sparano failed Thursday to quash speculation that the team might be interested in the 41-year-old retired quarterback.

"I haven't heard anything, and I don't have any interest," Favre evidently "snapped" at Darlington on Friday.

"You're from Miami?" Favre asked the reporter. "Don't you have anything better to do?"

Apparently Favre has better things to do than ponder a 21st NFL season. Darlington reports that he's been vacationing in Wyoming this summer, but that he was also moving around Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Miss., quite "gingerly."

Favre was battered and bruised frequently in 2010 and saw his record streak of consecutive starts snapped at 297 amid a lost season in Minnesota.
