MarylandJetsFan
I don't know where the hell he is, but that guy was the downfield threat this team is going to need.
slats
I'll tell you this much; you're making a name for yourself here.

MarylandJetsFan
I'll tell you this much; you're making a name for yourself here. We don't have enough diversity in our WR corps...Clown would get some nice one on one matchups, similar to Dedric Ward....
gangreenman
Dont we have Clown upgraded in Patrick Turner?

David Clowney is young and out of work because he sucks. He's a lame WR who can't contribute on specials. The Jets already know what he can do (which is next to nothing), might as well see what guys like Scotty McKnight and Courtney Smith can do. Montreal Jet
I don't know where the hell he is, but that guy was the downfield threat this team is going to need. He's a pre season hall of famer

MikeJetsWord
He is under contract with Carolina, and per usual, apparently lighting it up with Cam Newton. When the season starts he should be back to normal.

Iceman88
I'm praying this thread is a joke. I couldn't stand all the love for Clowney when he was still on the team, this is just too much.

JetsFanFromQueens
I wouldn't mind having Clowney on the roster, as nothing more than a player who could take the top off the defense due to top of the line speed. It doesn't hurt that he's from Queens either, but now thinking about it... He's not a very young WR at the age of 26 anymore, and he's only put up 22 catches, 341 yards and 1 TD after being in the league for 4 years. He's not very good so I'll have to say pass inorder to see what we have in talents such as Kerley and S.McKnight.

kelticwizard
The Jets gave him a couple of years to develop, he didn't, so they cut him. If he emerges in later years-well, good for him. It would not surprise me at all if he really did come around and become a good receiver.
