  1. The plan here is very simple. Somebody, please smuggle Woody's son, Brick (really, is that what you name your son, Brick?"), for a weekend in Austin, TX, where we hole him up in a hotel room with Arch Manning for a weekend, and they exchange smooches. In two years Woody would make sure our qb problems are solved.
  2. Does your cat hate it when you spend hours, scouring obscure football podcasts instead of playing footsy/pawsy with her?
  3. It is not that easy of a thing to to do. When you are an athlete that has performed at even the minimal levels of a standard at any grade of competition, you have that "taste". That taste is what drives athletes. That taste is also what makes them hang on for too long. Competition and driving for that taste has been in their blood for almost 90% of their young lives. It has to be ripped away from them, for the fear of having the thought later in life of, "what if?". I have witnessed it in athletes with far less talent than what it takes to showcase at the professional level. And I can't say I begrudge them. You are only young once. If you want to make them rip the jersey off of you, make them.
  4. Imagine listening to a Saleh presser and hanging on his words. I don't like him as a a coach, myself, but geez.

  6. Best case scenario for the Jets is that there are multiple QB injuries in other camps, and teams have to dumpster dive in order to round out their QB room.
  7. I was in a bar that Monday night with one eye watching Dinosaur Jr and the other watching the tv, so I can't tell you what he was thinking.
  8. In Super Bowls he has a steely eyed disposition. His first plays with the Jets he is nervous because he his trying to impress Jetnation. Makes sense.
  9. He was VP Player Personnel under Roseman
  10. I break my golden rule of never taking any of your posts on this board seriously, and I get my just desserts in the end. I deserve that.
  11. It would be so Jets to draft a qb top 10, then string along Rodgers for 3 years and waste that pick.
