  1. The list is heisman winners. The best player in college football.
  2. so much to unpack here it's probably not even worth it. I don't think you are getting slats point on positional value. The cost of a good OT or WR is $20-30M / year. The cost of the BEST TE in the entire league is ~$15m. Don't hate the player, hate the game. The NFL GM's have determined that TE doesn't impact the game as much as other positions so when you have a chance to get a 3-4 year starter at $5M/year in a position that typically costs $20M+, you jump at it. we get that you love Bowers and I'm sure he's a fine player. But the best anything in college doesn't always translate (see Eric Crouch, RG3, Ty Detmer, Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford, Ricky Williams, Ron Dayne, Marcus Marriotta, Jameis Winston, Matt Leinart, etc...).
  3. traded out of rd 1 for Doug Jolley and drafted Nugent the kicker in rd 2. It almost seems like it doesn’t matter who the GM is, as soon as they come to the NYJ their brain completely shuts off.
  4. Traded for a bag of balls that we have to pay for.
  5. JD loves to get too cute on the trade down so I could see ‘value’ and getting stuck with another McDonald type reach for a player who would be available later. I still think JD is on tilt and knows this is his last chance and I fully expect a move up for one of the big 3 wr.
  6. JJ reminds me of Blake Bortles, he just played on a much better team.
  7. He can flip the 3rd to a 5th to keep the same # of picks and still move up. I definitely think he’s going to try to go up for 1 of the big 3.
  8. starting to think it's a game of chicken with JD and Zach's agent. If Zach wants a chance to be on a team this year he's going to have to redo his contract to become tradeable. I think the ZW position is F you pay me, I dare you to keep me on the roster in camp.
  9. lol, probably the least drama associated with ZW since he got here
  10. Basically, the NYJ have a brittle OL and play on the worst turf in the league. It's not even an if, it's a when they lose multiple starters on the OL do they have an NFL ready replacement or are they scraping practice squads and street FA's to protect the season which is Rodgers health? Also both OT's are on 1 year deals so getting a swing tackle sets the team up for the future. Bowers doesn't have the athleticism and isn't nearly the mismatch Pitts was/is and he isn't the difference maker people projected him to be, although taking an H back at 10 is the Jetsiest thing I can think of. JD knows this is his last chance, he's moving up for one of the big 3 and this is going to be an explosive offense with 3 players who can score any time they touch the ball. That's a lot to defend and something we haven't seen from the NYJ in my lifetime.
  11. unless all 3 wr’s are gone by 6 I think JD moves up to get one.
  12. PVO - you’re definitely due for a break, hope life improves for you.
