How many 4th and later guys are starting year 1? Five of those guys were picked in 2023 and two of those contributed. Clemons and Mitchell were the only two in 2022 and both contributed, though Mitchell seems to have trended down. Echols, Carter and Sherwood have all contributed. Most of the board lost their sh*t when they let Pinnock loose, but they preferred Adams and Adams is exactly the kind of guy the original post is discussing. 2020 was pretty much a disaster, but those guys were picked for a different staff. It hasn't been pretty, but I don't think it is quite as bleak as often painted. -
Which OL likely to be there at 10 would you want?

I get the whole LT over RT/G prospect, but I am getting tired of these light in the ass technicians with "good feet." Give me a mauler. Guys that are hammering people hammer people, when I read about some of these LT prospects I feel like the scouting report should just say "Pussy." Based on this, my very uneducated, didn't watch much more than a bunch of highlight films and read some blurbs ass says go with Fuaga. -
Eh. Williams will be 30 by week 5 and has missed 18 games over the past two seasons. He has had plenty of injuries including a back/neck injury that made many wary of drafting him when he came out. He is not even supposed to be ready for the start of camp.

Pretty sure this is backwards. Linemen are most likely to get CTE. See Webster, Mike RIP. They say it is the number of head impacts, rather than the magnitude (think Jack Tatum smack for magnitude) that makes CTE more likely. -

I was watching them all and thinking I would be fine with Nix. I don't think being old is such a big deal and he has a bunch of positives. This is always kind of a weird time of year for me. I usually start off hating all the top prospects and liking a bunch of later guys that have upside. When the actual draft comes, I can talk myself into almost any of them because they all have enough upside and you have to figure these guys know something to pick them, right? That is why I didn't lose my sh*t over Hackenberg - who I hated coming out. In the who don't you want thread people pretty much listed the guys I don't want - BTJ, Latham, etc, but if we picked either I would be willing to believe the hype until August when I watched them and thought - ugh. There are videos blowing up everybody. Steve Smith has one where he claims that whatever team you have BTJ will be your #1 WR. Once you pick them, I feel like yelling LET'S ******* RIDE! and running out on the field. I feel like I can find a use for any of these guys, but then when the season starts the coaches never seem to and some of them don't seem to have a use. -
IIRC, they said there would be no changes in staff after the season. The firing supposedly happened based on stuff that came out in the exit interviews about LaFleur's relationship with Zach and Moore. I specifically remember people being surprised that some of the interviews were with Woody alone and not the front office. Not a smoking gun, but not a big jump either.

How would you feel about this being the Jets OT situation week 1

Drafted WIlson in 2022 and it worked out okay so far. -
Do you consider the draft "must see TV"?

Not insane, just crazy? Newsome never drafted a great QB? Just a Super Bowl MVP and a guy who has been two time all-pro and two time MVP? Roseman was a miss with Wentz but won the super bowl with Went and another QB he drafted? Maybe you should ask yourself why a guy who has been playing football has so many fundamental flaws. I repeat that with the current rules you cannot get acclimated to the NFL in practice. He was supposed to be getting acclimated in 2021. He didn't. Fire everybody!
