Jets Say Sanchez Is Day To Day

The New York Jets say that Mark Sanchez is day-to-day.  In other words, they aren’t saying anything yet.

Long time JetNation friend Rich Cimini says that there is no guarantee that Sanchez will be ready for week one.

Jets say Sanchez is day-to-day, confirming injury isn't season ending, but I can tell you there's no guarantee he'll be ready for wk 1.

It sounds like the Jets are doing the right thing here.  Some media members don’t seem happy that the Jets aren’t releasing 100% of what they know.  The Jets only responsibility is to try and win games.  If they have any concerns over Mark’s shoulder, releasing that information now only gives the Tampa Bay Bucs more time to game plan.

As always it should be a fun and interesting week for Jet Nation.  Jane McManus says that Rex Ryan’s press conference on Monday will be streamed live on NY Jets.com. That one should definitely be worth checking out.
