j4jets
Yeah, that's us. Ranked 21st on NFL.com. No other 1-4 team ranked higher. yay? Quote RANK21 1-4 JETS We can talk fourth downs, Darrelle Revis or the slumping offense all day long, but the broader point is that the season is slipping away fast. Recently spoke with my colleague -- and lifelong Gang Green fanatic -- @DanHanzus (his name is Dan, not @Dan) regarding the Jets' fortunes. We both feel that winning on opening day would have been paramount to them having a good season, given how tough the schedule is. New York controlled that Week 1 bout versus the Bengalsand had no business losing. Now the Jets are 1-4. I guess we can add that to the Bowles Trophy List. Other rankings: Quote CBS 24 Jets There sure aren't people talking up coach Todd Bowles now. A 1-4, their season is going bad quickly. ESPN 27. New York Jets 2016 record: 1-4Week 5 ranking: 21 Former defensive back Todd Bowles must hate what's happening to the Jets' secondary. The average passing touchdown against the Jets has gone for 31.5 yards this season, which includes five scores of 40 or more yards. Bowles is hoping they can fix those problems before playing at Arizona (his former team as a defensive coordinator) on Monday Night Football. SB Nation 24 New York Jets USA Today 28. Jets (21): Opposing QBs have a league-best 118.6 passer rating vs. this defense. How is that possible with talent New York has on D-line?
