hokiejetfan92
Team Friendly Buffalo Bills Tyrod Taylor, QB Taylor is entering the second year of a three-year, $3.35 million deal with just $1.1 million guaranteed. Colt McCoy and Shaun Hill are among the backup quarterbacks earning more. The deal's final year (2017) voided when Taylor played half the offensive snaps in 2015. Still, this is a great deal for Buffalo. Miami Dolphins Reshad Jones, SS Jones has no guaranteed money over the final two years of the four-year deal he signed in 2013. His base salaries are decent ($7.2 million and $7.0 million), but all the risk is his at this point. New England Patriots Chris Long, DE The Patriots committed less than $2.4 million to Long on a one-year deal. The 2016 cash totals for Long and 2015 defensive addition Jabaal Sheard approximate what New England would have paid for Chandler Jones had the Patriots not traded him to Arizona. New York Jets Brandon Marshall, WR Marshall has a league-leading 45 touchdown catches since 2012 while catching passes from Jay Cutler, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Josh McCown, Geno Smith and Jason Campbell. The other players in the top five had Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Tony Romo as their primary quarterbacks. Marshall is set to earn $17 million over the next two seasons, with $9.5 million guaranteed. Player Friendly Contracts Buffalo Bills Charles Clay, TE Clay wore the transition tag in Miami when the Bills came after him with an offer the Dolphins were not going to match. His deal included $24.5 million in the first two years, more than Julius Thomas received from Jacksonville. Can the Bills get that kind of value from him? Miami Dolphins Ndamukong Suh, DT Suh is earning quarterback money while playing defensive tackle, giving him the friendliest contract in the league. The Dolphins committed $60 million guaranteed at signing. Releasing Suh at any point over the next several years would force Miami to absorb massive hits against its salary cap, increasing the chances Suh will earn most or all of the deal's $114 million total value. New England Patriots Tom Brady, QB Brady has agreed to contract structures that have helped the Patriots construct a championship roster. Some might call him underpaid, and his deal could easily appear on a team-friendly list as well. But the beauty for Brady is that he'll earn $29 million in 2016, which is 15-20 percent of team outlays and about $19 million more than anyone else on the team is set to earn. New York Jets Darrelle Revis, CB Revis turns 31 this summer and is coming off a down season, but his accountant should not worry; Revis has $23 million in guaranteed salary over the next two seasons. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/16556819/most-player-friendly-contracts-all-32-nfl-teams-tom-brady-new-england-patriots-ndamukong-suh-miami-dolphins
