About an hour ago, the Jets released a statement announcing that Brian Schottenheimer would not return as Offensive Coordinator.  If you read the statement, it said that this was Schotty’s decision.  If you read between the lines, you know that this was the Jets decision.

There are now reports saying that the Jets are set to name former Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano as their new Offensive Coordinator.

Source confirms that Tony Sparano will be the new Jets offensive coordinator.
