Important Dates for Jets Fans to Know in 2015

 

 

January:

1/4: Assistant coaches under contract to playoff clubs that have byes in the Wild Card weekend may be interviewed for head coaching positions through Wild Card weekend

1/11: Assistant coaches that won their Wild Card games may be interviewed for head coaching positions through the conclusion of Divisional Playoff games.

1/17: East-West Shrine game - Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL

1/24: Senior Bowl - Ladd-Peebles Stadium, Mobile, AL

1/25: Pro Bowl - University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona

1/25: An assistant coach, whose team is participating in the Super Bowl, who has provisionally interviewed for another club’s head coaching job may have a second interview with such club no later than the Sunday preceding the Super Bowl.

February:

2/16: First day for clubs to designate Franchise or Transition Players (tent.)

2/17-2/23: NFL Combine - Indianapolis, Indiana

March:

3/2: Clubs must designate Franchise or Transition players by 4pm NY time (tent.)

3/10: 2014 player contracts expire at 4pm NY time (tent.)

3/10: 2015 League Year and Free Agency period begins at 4pm NY time (tent.)

3/10: Trading period for 2015 begins at 4pm NY time (tent.)

3/22-3/25: Annual Meeting - Phoenix, AZ

April:

4/6: Clubs that hired new Head Coach after the end of 2014 regular season may begin offseason workout programs (tent.)

4/24: Deadline for Restricted Free Agents to sign Offer Sheets (tent.)

4/30-5/2: NFL Draft - Chicago, IL (tent.)

May:

5/20-5/22: Spring League Meeting - San Francisco, California

June:

6/22-6/29: Rookie Symposium - Canton, OH

August:

8/7-8/9: Hall of Fame Weekend

8/13-8/15: Preseason Week #1 - AWAY

8/20-8/22: Preseason Week #2 - HOME

8/27-8/29: Preseason Week #3 - @ New York Giants

September:

9/3: Preseason Week #4 – vs. Philadelphia Eagles

9/10: NFL Kickoff

9/13-9/14: NFL Opening Weekend

October:
