mo will not holdout because of the new cba. The jets will not pay him for a lot of reasons.  this is his last year as a jet, enjoy it

Muhammad Wilkerson can hold out as long as he wants from training camp( could holdout into the season- week 10 but this won't happen 15.7 million reasons why). There isn't anything the Jets can do about it under the Cba.

Why - until he signs that franchise tag( guarantee 15.7) he isn't an official member of the Jets.( isn't subject to the big fines that NFL players who are under contract are- that try to hold out.

Please Mo, reconsider and accept the deal. I want my #96 Tara Jersey Authentic Rip-off-lica to STILL be relevant

There is no longterm deal coming from the Jets.( drafting of Leonard Williams sealed Muhammad Wilkerson fate with the Jets).

The only deal that might be coming is that if Muhammad Wilkerson signs his franchise tag before training camp starts,  ( would have to report day one to camp) the Jets promise that they won't put the franchise tag him on him next year.   (Making him an Unrestricted Fa next season).

There are 15.7 million reasons why the Jets want him in camp early.   Players who hold out for most of training camp are suspectible to lower body injuries( pulls/ hamstring injuries) , that can keep players on the sideline for a good part of the season. That is a lot of coin( 15.7 million ) to pay someone to sit on the sideline.
