JetNation
Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees will board a bus at their Tampa, Fla., training complex to catch a flight to Virginia, then bus to Blacksburg for an exhibition game they all want to play. The Bronx Bombers vs. the Virginia Tech Hokies. More...
Kidhuman
I tried so freakin hard to get tickets for this game. They only gave tickets to students and if you happened to be a non student and have a ticket, you cant get in the game with out a valid ID. Bummer. mbn007
Nice touch by the Yankees, playing this game. Not a big deal, but it means a whole lot to the VT folks.
Kidhuman
Te only thing that sucks is they only let students into the game. The field is so small, they couldnt even fit 20% of the student pop in there. There is a perfectly legit minor league baseball filed 20 miles away that seats 6000 people. They could have at least played there and let the general public get some cracks at those tickets and raise money for the cause.
