  1. Green Bay Packers (1) – The pass defense is a concern, but not enough of a weakness to lose…so far.
  2. San Francisco 49ers – (3) The Niners should clinch in another two weeks.
  3. New Orleans Saints – (6) This was a much better looking Saints team than the one that traveled to St. Louis last week.
  4. Baltimore Ravens (8) – That was a monster road win for the Ravens.
  5. New York Giants (9) – Eli has really stepped up his game even with a revolving door at WR.
  6. Detroit Lions – (7)The Lions have to like the way the Green Bay pass defense has looked lately.
  7. Pittsburgh Steelers – (2) The Steelers couldn’t close the deal at home on Sunday.
  8. Cincinnati Bengals (10)The Bengals have won five straight.  Now they have Pittsburgh twice and a trip to Baltimore over the next four weeks.
  9. New York Jets (NR) –Welcome back to the conversation, Gang Green.
  10. New England Patriots (4) – Brady was out clutched by Eli.

If we're going by overall records, sure, but as far as power-rankings... I truly don't believe that teams such as the 49ers, Lions and Bengals are better than the Jets. Put Alex Smith up against our defense, and watch what happens. Put a rookie QB in Dalton up against a Rex Ryan led defense, and watch what happens. 2009 isn't a great example, but we dominated the Bengals during consecutive games during week 17 followed by a WC playoff game. I just don't see these 3 teams as being better than the Jets. The Lions have lost two of three games since stating 5-0. Look for the Bears to beat up the Lions in Chicago this Sunday.
