Thanks to Alabama taping up and ACL and using Namath's body to win a national championship, Namath came into the league a one legged QB. Sanchez took some huge steps backwards this year and any reasonable Jet fan has to wonder what his top side is. If this is it than we need to understand he is not a franchise QB. If he has more room to grow than perhaps a great team can win with him. The concern is his leadership. He says al the right things and runs Jets camp west, but is clearly rattled and scared during certain moments. he is neither as bad as his haters say nor as good as his supporters insist.
