Rex Ryan said he suffered a back injury in the weight room. … P Robert Malone was sidelined with an undisclosed injury. … RB Joe McKnight was not on the field either after leaving practice Monday with a head injury. … TE Kellen Winslow and WR Braylon Edwards had a scheduled day off. … Rookie G Brian Winters (ankle) rode the bike along with WR Clyde Gates (head) and C Dalton Freeman (ankle). … T Dennis Landolt (knee) was not on the field. … QB Greg McElroy (ankle) was on the field but did not do any team drills. He has a sleeve on his left leg and a knee brace. … CB Antonio Cromartie (elbow) practiced a day after injuring his elbow with a sleeve on his left arm.
