Eric Allen of NewYorkJets.com is reporting that Williams was a tryout player for the Jets during the off-season after playing his college ball at Maine: Williams, who played collegiately at Maine, was a tryout player at the Jets rookie minicamp. The 6’0”, 185-pound Williams had 101 career receptions with the Black Bears for 1,437 yards and 12 TDs.
