They blame him (only) for losing that game with the Bills. There are no franchise Qbs available. I think that Bradford is better than Fitz but he isn't a franchise Qb. Fitz right now looks like our best bet for 2016. No one is saying they don't want Fitz back, just not at a cap busting price. He's not a "franchise QB" which means if we have no money to get players we need to fill holes than we're spinning our wheels anyway so what's the point? With Brady accepting 9 million per year up in Foxboro, we might see Marvin Jones & Forte with Dion Lewis coming back from injury, healthy Edelman, Gronk, Amendola, revamped Oline, you have to admit with our schedule that's not a promising outlook without us being able to fix the holes on this team. Mac has got to be looking at this team with an eye towards the future, and staying somewhat compete ive. That's a helluva tightrope he's walking playing in the Patriots division.
