visajets
NFL sets complete draft order, including six picks for Jets Published: Thursday, March 31, 2011, 7:10 PM Updated: Thursday, March 31, 2011, 7:10 PM By Jenny Vrentas/The Star-Ledger The Star-Ledger John Munson/The Star-LedgerMike Tannenbaum and Rex Ryan have six picks to work with in this year's NFL Draft. The NFL released its complete draft order today, which includes six picks for the Jets, starting with the No. 30 overall pick in the first round. The Jets also have selections in the third round (No. 94), fourth round (No. 126), fifth round (No. 161), sixth round (No. 194) and seventh round (No. 208). The Jets gave up their second-round pick to the Chargers as a result of the trade for cornerback Antonio Cromartie last season. The pick was a conditional third-rounder, and became a second-rounder after the Jets beat the Colts to advance to the divisional round of last season's playoffs. The Jets' seventh-round pick was part of the package when the team traded Kerry Rhodes to Arizona last spring. The team was not awarded any compensatory picks last week, which are handed out based on the free agents teams signed and lost the previous season. The NFL Draft begins April 28 in New York City.
