Position: Secondary. Depth chart: CB -- Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie, Drew Coleman, Kyle Wilson, Marquice Cole, Will Billingsley, Ellis Lankster, Richard Taylor; S -- Jim Leonhard, Brodney Pool, Eric Smith, James Ihedigbo, Dwight Lowery, Emanuel Cook. Not under contract: Cromartie, Pool, Coleman, Ihedigbo, Smith. Player hurt most by lockout: Wilson. Player with most to gain: Leonhard. Analysis: For Wilson, this lockout has been a huge setback. If anyone needed a full offseason, surrounded by coaches and teammates, it was their 2010 first-round pick. He struggled last season, but still figures prominently in the team's plans. A minicamp and OTAs would've been a big help for his development, especially if they intend to keep him in the slot --a position he had to learn on the fly last year. Lowery, who could be making a permanent switch to safety, also suffered from the down time. He's a smart cookie, but safety is a difficult position to learn; he could've used the field time. Conversely, the work stoppage has helped Leonhard, who hasn't missed any action as he recovers from a severely broken leg. True, the lockout prevented him from rehabbing under the supervision of the Jets' training staff, but from all indications (namely his optimistic twitter updates), he's progressing nicely in his home state of Wisconsin. The lockout also could help Cromartie's value as a free agent. For the sake of continuity, they need him because breaking in an outsider would be a rush job at this stage.
