visajets
This just dawned on me after reading about McKnight spraining his ankle. I was there last week and just now realized the practice fields are grass and not turf.I know the indoor field is turf. They play on synthetic turf at the New Meadowlands why not not practice on it? Anyone have answers? Thanks

I think a natural field is more forgiving, and less likely to "grab" cleats causing lower body injury. The only knock being that its a slower surface to run on.
