#27TheDominator Posted May 15, 2014 Share Posted May 15, 2014 Interesting prospect. He seems to buck the trend of Idzik picking guys that were expected to go higher. I guess McDougle already ended that bandwagon. Most places had George slated for 5th-7th. He is a little small and did not run so well at the combine, but he was supposedly hurt. He dropped his 40 two tenths at his pro day and jumped 5 1/2 inches more on the vertical and over a foot more on the broad. That lends more credence to the fact that the combine was not representative. His pro day numbers were comparable or better than the best at his position, but it is difficult to compare.
