But that doesn't mean we are screwed. Building a young hungry team is probably the best part of the process. We have a great dline and tons of cap room. Total housecleaning done. Accountability. I think this upcoming year is a 6-10 type year, but the year after it we should head towards 8-8 or 9-7 with likely one of the youngest rosters in the league. Pardon My stupidity, but exactly how did John Idzik set this team back years ? Under his watch: 18 picks we have millions in cap space. We Drafted Geno Smith : Starting QB Presently We drafted Sheldon Richardson : Pro Bowler Oday Aboushi : Starting LG Jace Amaro : Starting TE Dee Milliner : Injured starting CB Brian Winters : Injured former starting LG Calvin Pryor : Starting safety Tommy Bohannon : Injured starting FB 5 other draft picks on the roster : Signed Eric Decker : starting Wr to a decent contract. Winters was playing out of position Pryor was playing out of position Allen was playing out of position Geno Smith wasn't ready this yr never mind last yr . The Gm drafts players to build a team. It's up to the coaches to develop the players and get them ready for the NFL. Rex was the HC. Name 1 offensive player that has been developed in 6 years ?
