nyjunc
This will be the 7th matchup since the Houston Texans began play in 2002. we have fared well w/ them over the years only losing 1 time(our undermanned 2012 team in a game we were competitive in against playoff bound Houston). October 19, 2003 W New York Jets @ Houston Texans 19 14 boxscore December 5, 2004 W New York Jets Houston Texans 29 7 boxscore November 26, 2006 W New York Jets Houston Texans 26 11 boxscore September 13, 2009 W New York Jets @ Houston Texans 24 7 boxscore November 21, 2010 W New York Jets Houston Texans 30 27 boxscore October 8, 2012 L New York Jets Houston Texans 17 23 boxscore 2003: it looked like we had it on a late Lamont Jordan TD run then we gave up a huge KR and had to sweat it out but held on. 2004: this was Chad's first game back from the rotator cuff injury and after a slow start we blew the Texans out in their first trip to the meadowlands. 2006: similar to the 2004 game we started slow and crushed the Texans 2009: the debut of Mark Sanchez and Rex Ryan was a smashing success as our D suffocated the Texans and the rookie QB got off to a great start 2010: One of the best comebacks we have had, not by the amount of points but the time and situation of the game. after blowing a 23-7 4th qtr lead our O got the ball back :49 secs left at our 28 w/ no TOs needing a TD. Sanchez would throw 2 of the best passes you will ever see, first a deep ball down the sideline to Braylon then a pass to the corner to Holmes for the win.
