OT: Attending MegaConcerts @ MetLife

Have a General Question for those who have attended a MegaConcert @ Metlife Stadium

This is in regards to the GnR concert on 7/23/16

Does the policy of opening the Gates & Parking 5 hours before the event start time still hold?

The Metlife Stadium website cites $30 for parking for the concert, are there Parking Passes issued & sold beforehand for Concerts (or are those StubHub Conjobs?) and you ONLY pay at the gate CASH?

Is tailgating permitted for concerts?

 

May have to pick someone up from JFK airport getting in @ 5:30pm and debating whether to go straight to venue since tix are on WillCall. 

Logistics seem like a nightmare and am trying to plan accordingly. If I opt for Public Transportation, does the NJ transit run every hour similar to Gameday or better schedule?
