like it or not, it almost worked.  favre had that offense clicking for much of the year.  mangini/schitty should have sat him down over the second half when it was clear his arm was mush.  at some point you just have to trust the guy on the bench to come in and succeed.  if there's no faith then the player shouldn't be on the team.
