Popular Post JetNation
Having previously believing offensive tackle Morgan Moses would be out for just two weeks, NFL insider Ian Rapoport has an update. Mandatory Credit: Darren Yamash*ta-Imagn Images According to Rapoport, the left knee injury Moses suffered in Thursday night’s win over the New England Patriots will keep him out for 2-4 weeks. This of course means that rookie tackle Olu Fashanu, the 11th overall pick in this year’s draft, will get some live reps on the right side after playing left tackle at Penn State. The post More Tests Reveal 2-4 Week Recovery for Morgan Moses appeared first on JetNation.com - New York Jets Blog & Forum.Click here to read the full story... 4

Maynard13
So 4 weeks recovery which means add another 2 weeks to get in playing shape. That brings him back after 9-10 games into the season. And what if Olu plays lights out? Do you go back to Moses or does he go on the bench as a backup? Regardless, its good to have solid depth. If Smith needs a few games off, Olu can swing to LT and Moses goes back to RT. Or if Moses is still out and Olu needs to spell Smith down the road, Olu can slide over to left side and Warren can cover RT. So nice to have depth on the OL and maintain a solid OL.
