Stringer passes away Tue, 4 Jul 2006 06:15:34 -0700 The Associated Press reports James Stringer, the father of late <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/23/nfl">Minnesota Vikings OL Korey Stringer, has died from a heart attack at the age of 57. He had been in the hospital since April because of illness, son Kevin Stringer said. Korey died from heatstroke during 2001 training camp with the Vikings.
